Regaining contact with oneself
Nonviolent Communication allows us to gain more acute awareness of ourselves. "I have feelings, needs, and I'm rediscovering my body."
Although Nonviolent Communication is centred on language, it leads to heightened awareness of our bodies. We learn to feel our sensations: a tight throat, hands clenched, pain in the nape of the neck ... The path through one's body is the shortest route to one's feelings.
